Welcome to ODR Atlas (“we,” “us,” “our”). We operate a website that helps users discover outdoor skating rinks with ratings, amenities, and map links. By accessing or using our site, you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you disagree, do not use the site.

Eligibility & Intended Use
The site is provided for informational purposes only and does not constitute a safety guarantee or professional advice. Do not rely on the site for emergency or life-safety decisions.

Outdoor Skating Safety & Assumption of Risk
Outdoor ice conditions can change quickly and become hazardous. You understand and agree that: Ice conditions and amenities are not guaranteed to be accurate, open, safe, or available. You skate at your own risk and are responsible for evaluating conditions and complying with local rules.

Content on the Site (Informational Only)
Ratings, amenities, and details are provided for informational purposes and may be incomplete or outdated. Map links and GPS pins are provided for convenience; they may direct you to third-party platforms (e.g., Google Maps). We reserve the right to add, remove, or edit listings without notice.

User Submissions

You may submit rink locations, updates, photos, or comments (“Submissions”). By submitting, you represent and warrant that you have the right to share the information and that it does not violate any rights (including privacy, copyright, or trademark) or laws. Submissions do not include private or restricted locations unless they are publicly accessible. Submissions are non-confidential and may be published.

License you grant us: You grant ODR Atlas a worldwide, non-exclusive, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, transferable, and sublicensable license to use, host, store, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, publicly perform, and publicly display your Submissions in any media to operate, improve, market, and archive the service. Where permitted by law, you waive moral rights in your Submissions. We may remove or reject any Submission at our discretion.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to: Post or submit unlawful, misleading, harmful, defamatory, or infringing content. Attempt to scrape, bulk download, or otherwise misuse the site or its data. Interfere with site security or functionality, or circumvent technical controls. Misrepresent private property as public access.

Accounts & Memberships (Future Features)

If we offer accounts or paid memberships (e.g., Skate Score Index and alerts), additional terms may apply, including billing, renewal, cancellation, and refund policies. We will present those terms at sign-up.

Third-Party Services & Links

The site may link to third-party services (e.g., Google Maps, weather providers, advertisers). We do not control or endorse them and are not responsible for their content, policies, or availability. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk and subject to the terms and conditions of those services.

Intellectual Property

The site, including text, graphics (e.g., skyline silhouettes), logos, and software, is owned by ODR Atlas or its licensors and is protected by law. Except for your own Submissions, you may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

Privacy & Cookies

Your use of the site is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and share information (including cookies and advertising technologies). By using the site, you consent to those practices.

Disclaimers

THE SITE AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT CONTENT WILL BE CURRENT OR ACCURATE.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ODR ATLAS AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SITE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS SHALL NOT EXCEED CAD $100.

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless ODR Atlas and its affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the site, your Submissions, or your violation of these Terms.

Changes to the Site or Terms

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue parts of the site at any time. We may update these Terms from time to time; the “Last Updated” date will reflect changes. Continued use indicates your acceptance of the revised Terms.

Suspension/Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the site (or remove content) at any time for any reason, including suspected breaches of these Terms.

If you believe content infringes your copyright, contact us with: (a) your contact info, (b) identification of the work, (c) the infringing material’s URL and description, (d) a statement of good-faith belief, and (e) your signature.

Governing Law & Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to the conflict of laws. You consent to exclusive jurisdiction and venue in the courts of Edmonton, Alberta.
